French developer Microids has announced that the sequel to last year's awards winning adventure game Syberia II is being delayed. Originally scheduled for release this coming fall it is now being pushed back to Q1 2004. Reason for the delay is to give Syberia mastermind Benoit Sokal and his team extra/sufficient time to deliver the best product possible. Read more for details ...

XS Games in conjunction with Jack of all games, and Microïds have reached a distribution agreement for the critically acclaimed Adventure Game of the year 2002, Syberia, for the Xbox. Within the agreement, XS Games will hold the exclusive distribution rights for Syberia Xbox across North America. The game will hit the store shelves on July 28th at a retail price of $19.99.

Microids has just released a patch for their top selling adventure hit, Syberia. This upgrade is for European and Canadian versions only and addresses the random freezing problem in the area with the Giant Robot in Komkolzgrad and the characters freezing bug for the Pentium 4 Hyperthreading or Xeon processors users. Additionally, it addresses a problem with overlapping character voices, and a problem with character movement speeds on portable computers. Read more fore links where to grab it ..
