Announced last year but not heard of since, Multiverse's Firefly MMO has been put on hold according to
online reports in favor of another Joss Whedon creation, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Claiming the Buffy property has more potential, the TV series-based MMO will be a fully immersive 3D environment or as a Flash-based 2D game, where both types of players can interact.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is an all-new title in the FF franchise, although it's not part of the compilation of Final Fantasy VIII or the Ivalice Alliance. Not a standard RPG, it's labeled a dramatic progressive action title, and Tetsuya Nomura, known for Kingdom Hearts, has signed on to be the game's character designer.
Gamers are invited to return to magical Piñata Island where unfortunately not all is well. Professor Pester, along with his gang of Ruffians, have wiped out Piñata Central’s computer records, which poses a threat to parties everywhere.
