Initially, Ubisoft was planning to add Spy vs. Spy to the PC edition of Splinter Cell Double Agent, unlike the Xbox 360 version, which featured Spy vs. Mercenary. According to
this post on the French Ubisoft forums, it seems there has been a change of heart, mainly due to the massive outcry from fans. While there will be an official announcement in a few weeks, it has been confirmed that PC gamers will now also be able to enjoy Spy vs. Mercenary, although it's unknown whether this is in addition to – or in place of – Spy vs. Spy, or if it's cross-platform enabled.
