Stargate SG-1 is not the only sci-fi series that will see life after death. Multiverse, maker of a free MMO-creation platform,
revealed that on Friday, it will announce a license agreement deal with Fox to turn "Firefly" into an MMORPG. Written by Buffy's Joss Whedon, "Firefly" was a sci-fi western series that aired on Fox to a devoted following, often referred to as "Browncoats." Unfortunately, the series saw a premature end before a full season had aired. While Multiverse is not a developer, the Firefly MMO will use its base technology, making for a speedy development process. The title is tentatively scheduled for 2008.
