Capcom hired former THQ representative Germaine Gioia as senior vp licensing, where she will expand Capcom's Hollywood presence. After reasonable success with the Resident Evil movies, and the upcoming Street Fighter and Onimusha flicks, Gioia will shop around deals regarding other original franchises suitable for the silver screen.

Soldner was one of the most promising titles of 2004, but ended up a major disappointment due to a extremely bugged & rushed release, ultimately resulting in the demise of its developer Wings Simulations. However JoWood seems to have enough faith in the franchise to merit a sequel as gEasy Development Team announced it is currently working on Soldner 2, currently scheduled for Q4 2007.
