SCEA announced a series of new games from indie studio Codename that have been created exclusively for PlayStation Home. An agreement between the two companies will bring indie developers from all over the world together to collaborate and create exclusive, new, never-before-seen games for the PlayStation Home platform and to the PS3.

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced the availability of DC Comics on the PlayStation Network digital comics service for PSP. An initial selection of over 80 DC titles can be downloaded from PlayStation Store immediately priced from $0.99 to $2.99 per issue.

SCEA announced the PlayStation Protection Plan, an extended service offer for the PS3 and PSP systems, allowing owners in the United States to purchase an extended service plan of one or two years that begins after the original one-year manufacturer's limited warranty expires.

Scott Guthrie, formerly Executive Vice President of Publishing for THQ, joins MTV Games as its new Executive Vice President and General Manager, while former Senior Director, Sales and Merchandising for SCEA David Cox also joins as Senior Vice President of Sales.
