During its press conference in Japan, Nintendo announced that it will launch its new Wii game console on December 2 in Japan for 25,000 yen ($250). 16 titles will be available at launch, including The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Odoru! An article from the
Seattle Post-Intelligencer referring to tomorrow's NY Times reveals Nintendo will announce that the Wii will be available Nov. 19 for $250 and will include Wii Sports titles (tennis, golf, baseball and bowling) bundled with the console. On top of that, it also reveals that there will be 25 to 30 Wii games available this year, including Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and they will be priced at $50. Wii will be able to browse the web, and classic downloadable games will cost $5-10.
