For the first quarter of fiscal 2007, THQ reported net sales of $138.8 million, exceeding expectations of $125.0 million, primarily due to better-than-anticipated sales of Pixar's Cars and MotoGP 2006 videogames. In the subsequent conference call however, THQ confirmed that it has cancelled the Xbox 360 version of The Sopranos.

When Activision signed its
license agreement with Marvel, it included rights for Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four and Iron Man through 2009. While the first three franchises all received games, Iron Man was the only one holding out, until the recent announcement of the movie. News has been rather quiet on that front, and
according to Gamespot, the reason is because Activision simply no longer holds the rights to it, effectively cancelling any game they had in development.

Ubisoft announced sales for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2006-07, which ended June 30, 2006. Revenue increase from €43M to €70M (62% increase). It was revealed that the launch date for Splinter Cell Double Agent, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, as well as Resident Evil 4 have all been pushed back to the end of October.

Today, Ubisoft and Techland announce that Call of Juarez will be coming to a next generation console in 2007, and that the PC version in the US will be held to coincide with the launch of the console version, while the release dates in Europe remain unchanged. Improvements to the US PC version are expected, based on optimization for Windows Vista. No further details are available at this time.

Since Troika is no longer amongst the living this patch is not official, so use at your own discretion. This update brings Activision's Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines retail game to v2.6 (requires v1.2 patch installed) and addresses a number of known issues, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes and so forth (
