IGN got some interesting information regarding recent rumours that EA might be supporting Xbox Live in its future titles. "After years of discussions, Electronic Arts and Microsoft are putting the final touches on a partnership enabling four of EA's sports titles, and possibly three non-sports games, to go online with Xbox Live this fall. The Redwood City, Ca.-based publisher will announce its strategy at the annual Electronic Entertainment Exposition this May, but it may reveal plans earlier to investors during its upcoming fiscal announcement this April 29."

THQ Inc. today announced Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams, the sequel to Tak and the Power of Juju. Tak is the first property released under THQ and Nickelodeon's ground-breaking agreement to create new cross-media intellectual properties for initial release in the videogame space with the express intent of migrating the properties to other entertainment media. The first of a new wave of features on Xbox Live will greet subscribers when they log into the world's largest online gaming service after an update this Wednesday. Starting on Wednesday, April 21st at 6 a.m., Xbox Live servers will be offline for as long as 24 hours while new features are added.
