Take-Two's Q1 2010 financial result reveals increased net revenue, driven by by Borderlands, NBA 2K10, GTA IV, GTA: Episodes from Liberty City and Carnival Games, while its net loss is down compared to last year. L.A. Noire, Mafia II, Max Payne 3 and Sid Meier’s Civilization V are all planned for release in the Q4, but one of those could get delayed, while Red Dead Redemption has been pushed (May 18/21, US/Europe), and Mafia II somewhere between Aug. 1 - Oct. 31, 2010.

Activision Blizzard announced December quarter and calendar year 2009 financial result, racking up net revenues of $4.28 billion. More importantly CEO Robert Kotick stated that WoW: Cataclysm and StarCraft II (also as digital download through Battle.net) are both scheduled for later this year, with the latter going into closed beta this month, while new installments in the Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, Tony Hawk and Spider-Man franchises are also planned for 2010.

THQ announced its Q3 2010 financial results reporting a status quo in net sales, but a net income of $542,000, compared to last year's $191.8 million loss. Game-wise, THQ reports that Darksiders has sold 1.2 million units, while Juice Games and Rainbow Studios will henceforth focus on downloadable titles and be renamed to THQ Digital Studios Warrington and THQ Digital Studios Phoenix, respectively.Further down the line THQ plans to release Homefront and a new Red Faction in 2011, with Saint's Row 3, Warhammer Space Marine, and a Darksiders sequel in 2012.
