Developers of the critically acclaimed TRIBES franchise announced today that they have formed Ozo Interactive, a new development studio located in Eugene, OR. The studio, which will focus on state-of-the-art multiplayer content for PC and next generation console platforms, was formed by eight veteran Dynamix developers, who played various roles in the creation of TRIBES.

BAM! Entertainment and Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. today announced an extensive marketing campaign backing the North American launch of Riding Spirits for the PlayStation 2. BAM! representatives will discuss details with retailers during this week's Interactive Entertainment Merchants Association (IEMA) summit. The million-dollar campaign will include television, print and online advertising, national in-store retailer promotions and public relations efforts. Riding Spirits for the PlayStation 2 is scheduled to ship in early September.

JoWooD Productions Ltd and in-house developer Massive Development have published the first screenshots of their underwater action game AquaNox: Revelation, which is due for release in Q4 this year. Collapsed rock pillars, naturally formed bridges, giant boulders and half sunken buildings bring AquaNox: Revelation's undersea surroundings to life. The occasional desolate ruin tells of a long-abandoned settlement.

This new patch v1.07 offers new multiplayer features, such as extending multiplayer to the strategic map as well as introducing a hot seat mode for multiplayer duels on a single computer. Update patch v.1.07 fixes a number of issues that were found in 1.06 dealing with the strategic multiplayer mode, including multiple problems with connections and the loading of previously saved games. A demo version of Imperium Galactica 3 has initially been posted on an Hungarian website and has been spread throughout the web. This version has been specifically designed for the Matrox Parhelia graphics card. CDV did not give out this demo and advises to abstain from using it for covermount or other press related services, as it does not run properly on other graphic cards. They are currently working on a new version, which will be made available in the next few days. Nevertheless CDV wants to share the manual with everybody who already downloaded and commenced the demanding demo mission! Beat the enemy spaceships and finish your mission!
