Branching levels let you enter rooms and climb ladders, ropes and stairs as you solve puzzles and find pick-ups to progress through the game. Princess Fiona's powerful martial arts moves and Shrek's ogre strength give you the power to return fairy land to normal.

If you’re a follower of Mythic’s popular MMOG Dark Age of Camelot, this was certainly anything but a slow news week. Mark Jacobs, Mythic’s President, made a rare appearance on the official site July 29th with a State of the Game address that gave an honest appraisal of some issues in the game and an overview of what Mythic was going to do to solve them, Matt Firor, Producer, then posted more details about these changes the next day. Mod community, rejoice!!! Far Cry Software Development Kit (SDK) is near! After the Far Cry v1.2 patch was recently recalled, and the earlier estimated SDK release date (previously set for the week between 7/26 and 7/30) has obviously expired, fansite FarCry HQ received confirmation from Crytek's Avni Yerli that the long awaited SDK will be released Monday, August 2, 2004. On Friday Atari released its quarterly revenue figures, and apart from the numbers being more than 25% lower than last year, it also revealed that, after announcing 'Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone' was coming to the Xbox a few weeks ago, its also planned for the PC, "[f]or the third quarter ending December 31, 2004." No official statement has been released from Atari, but with this revelation, it will probably follow shortly.

TDK Mediactive has released a demo for Starbreeze Studios' 3rd person action game Knights of the Temple: Infernal Crusade. In the rank of a Commander of Knights he has to make his way through the lost city of Petra and to face groups of opponents armed with different weapons using unique fighting techniques. Sixteen Tons Entertainment has released a demo (German) for their paintball game Gotcha. No specific details as to what it contains are available. This demo is in German but since it's an action game, there shouldn't be many problems. Terminator 3: The Redemption will surprise players with innovative and exciting gameplay presented in a number of different styles utilizing vehicles and machines straight from the Terminator universe, pitting the Terminator against numerous ground and air-based and enemies.

Xpand Rally races take place in different parts of the world, the player gets to race in different environments – from deserts to polar snows. This gives him opportunity to experience cars’ physics changing in different weather and on different surfaces (gravel, sand, snow, ice and asphalt). The player will play as Sarge, now an army of one, against the whole of the Tan Army, under the leadership of Colonel Malice. All of the Heroes have been wiped out in a brutal Tan ambush and the Tan have found a new weapon of mass destruction that can reduce a platoon of soldiers into a mass of melted plastic. Sarge must go renegade and avenge the death of his fallen heroes, to take his revenge on the Tan Army and destroy Colonel Malice.

O~3 Entertainment today announced it is taking custody of "Alien Hominid," a short yellow alien with spherical black beady eyes, three teeth, and a little green gun. O~3 and game developer, The Behemoth, intend to feature Alien Hominid in its very own videogame for the PS2 and GameCube.
