Gen Con today announced that it will feature the ultimate in video game entertainment, Video Games Live, where fans experience an immersive concert featuring music from the biggest video games of all time performed by some of the nation’s most respected orchestras and choirs, in this case the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.

Video Games Live features music from some of the biggest video games performed by top orchestras and choirs across the country combined with video footage, lasers, lights and live action to create an explosive and unique entertainment experience. The national tour launches this summer at the world famous Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on July 6.

As preparations for Game Stars Live continue apace, Konami has revealed that it will be using the massive consumer event to unveil football favourite Pro Evolution Soccer 4 to the public for the very first time.

Square Enix let us know that the official site for Sword of Mana is now live.. Sword of Mana, the prequel to the famous Mana series, puts players in control of either a hero or heroine in the quest to save the Mana Tree from destruction, but each character experiences the story from a different perspective. The direction of the story changes based on which character the player selects. Sword of Mana will be released Dec. 1, at an MSRP of $34.99.

Game Live Events today announced their “2003 Fall College Tour.” Building on the overwhelming success of their 13-campus Spring Tour, attended by over 20,000 college gamers, the 17-stop Fall College tour begins on Friday, September 12th in New York, NY at Cornell University and runs through Monday, October 20th at the University of Southern California.

Game Live Events today announcedtheir "2003 Spring Game Life Tour." The 12-city tour begins on Saturday, March 1st in Houston, TX and runs through Sunday, March 30th in San Francisco, CA at top-tier regional malls throughout the US. Tour stops also include Panama City for the College Spring Break and New Orleans for Mardi Gras weekend. The tour will feature this Spring season's most highlyanticipated video and PC game titles.
