When it comes to racing games, the Xbox seems to have all bases covered. It launched with the excellent, original Project Gotham Racing, which took street racing to heights previously unseen. Then there was the strangely fun Rallisport Challenge, featuring an arcadey feel mixed with a fair amount of physics. Then THQ's excellent motorcycling simulation, MotoGP, hit the bullseye on gameplay and also started up an online community, being the first racer playable on Xbox Live. And just earlier this year, we saw the excellent Burnout 2. Now, Midnight Club II attempts to join the ranks of the best racing titles.

Strategy First has released an update patch for their recently released Disciples II expansion packs. This patch will fix the problem some people are having completing the second map of the high-level Clans campaign, corrects a few text errors and adds an explanation for the new high-level icons that appear on unit portraits in the Manual Addendum (PDF). BioWare has released a new patches for their 3D RPG Neverwinter Nights and the just released Shadows of Undrentide expansion pack. This upgrade brings your retail game to v1.30 and adds compatibility between the original and its add-on, two new creatures, 50+ scripting commands, stability and multiplayer performance, improvements, cheat/hack prevention, and numerous other changes. SOE will be opening applications for beta testing EQOA: Frontiers, the second edition of EQOA. Beta testing can be an exciting time and an opportunity for new players to check out the game. Spong.com has claimed its recent story ATI will provide the chipset and graphics technology for the Xbox 2 has been confirmed by an unnamed "senior source close to Nvidia". According to Spong.com's source, "[Nvidia] didn't want to meet Microsoft's demands for the floating design of Xbox Next. It didn't make sense to partner on the project. At this moment in time, ATI is working with Microsoft."
