Ubi Soft today announced it is developing a brand new Prince of Persia game: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Jordan Mechner, creator of Prince of Persia, is working hand in hand on the latest title in the series with Ubi Soft's Montreal production studio, most recently renowned for creating Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Scheduled to ship for all platforms starting in Q4 2003, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is poised to become the latest success story in a series of hit games from Ubi Soft.

Zona, Inc. the MMOG network solution provider, announces that Terazona has been chosen as the MMOG network engine for Capcom's Ghouls 'N Ghosts on cross-platforms including video game consoles. Game Factory, a game developer, has licensed Ghouls 'N Ghosts and will be incorporating Terazona into the game. Ghouls 'N Ghosts, highly regarded as one of the best video games ever created, is the classic "save the princess" adventure video game.

Octagon today announced it is working with Bihrle Applied Research of Hampton, Virginia and Third Wire Productions of Austin, Texas to create a flight simulator game based on the 1903 Wright Flyer. A training simulator is being developed to teach an elite team of pilots how to successfully fly an authentic replica of the Wright aircraft during December’s Centennial of Flight Celebration in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The training software will be modified to create a commercial flight simulator that will be geared toward the flight sim and aviation enthusiast markets. The computer game is scheduled for completion in late spring 2003.

Based upon the widely popular Comedy Central television show, BattleBots is the sport of remote-controlled robotic combat. On the show, contestants design robots to compete in a fast-paced, ruthless competition to see who can destroy their opponent's robot first. In addition to designing a superior robot, contestants need to be skilled at controlling their BattleBot and use deft maneuvering techniques in order to avoid hazards and do the most damage to their opponent. The entire contest takes place in a steel encasement called the BattleBoxTM, which is designed for maximum safety on the outside and supreme torture on the inside.

The SWAT: Global Strike Team was founded in 2018 as an international offshoot of the U.S. SWAT organization. Primarily established to supplement the income of the U.S. SWAT establishment, the Global Strike Team contract their personnel and expertise to companies and countries around the world to help “resolve” situations for those who have the funds but not the means to do so.
