James Cameron's Dark Angel is a 3rd person action adventure game, with emphasis on stealth and fighting, based on the hit TV series of the same name. Set against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic Seattle, players take on the role of Max, a genetically-enhanced super-soldier, on a quest to reclaim her past by finding her sister and fellow genetically-altered escapees. Sega.com Inc. today announced a distribution agreement with RealNetworks, Inc. to bring classic SEGA Genesis games to the RealOne Arcade games service. For the first time gamers may now download the official versions of four classic titles to their PC with the debut of the SEGA Channel on RealOne Arcade. The Star Wars Galaxies online game series is designed to immerse literally thousands of players into the rich Star Wars universe. The series will feature dynamic role-playing adventures across multiple planets during the classic Star Wars timeframe. Game play will offer a unique combination of combat, exploration, social interaction, specialized missions, and daring quests.
The game is set in the 23rd century as human civilization is expanding into the galaxy. Players will compete against up to five other computer-controlled races for control of the territory. Part of the challenge will be to determine the best use of humankind's limited resources.
