3D Gamers tossed up a 49.3MB big German rolling
demo of American Conquest, the isometric real-time strategy game with 3D terrain that's under construction at GSC Game World. The non-playable demo sports around four minutes of gameplay action, along with a German overview of the game's features.

Pillage is a turn based, action strategy game where a gang of brave warriors must fight an evil band of creatures and avenge the destruction of their tribe. The game is currently under development for the Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation2 and PC with all versions scheduled for release in 2003.

Planettribes reports that Tribes: Fast Attack has been cancelled. In its place is a free upgrade to Tribes 2, or for new players a new version of the game that costs $10. The two additions to Tribes 2 for this new release is the Comp mod and Team Rabbit. These new games have tweaked physics, putting them a little closer to Tribes 1, especially Team Rabbit.

Activision, Inc. announced today that the company has signed world-renowned skateboarder Bob Burnquist to an exclusive multi-year video game licensing and sponsorship agreement. Burnquist will continue to appear alongside Tony Hawk in Activision O2's flagship action sports franchise, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, which was the single largest independent U.S. video game franchise during calendar 2001, according to NPD. Additionally, as an Activision-sponsored athlete, Burnquist's helmet and skateboard deck will feature Activision O2 logos beginning at the 2002 Summer Gravity Games on NBC.

Today we scored another bunch of screens from UbiSoft's upcoming expansion pack for the multi-award winning WWII combat flight simulation title, IL-2 Sturmovik. IL2-Sturmovik: The Forgotten Battles will include two new maps for Finland and Hungary, expanding the battlefield for both single and multiplayer modes. It will also feature more than 20 new single player missions and ten cooperative multiplayer missions. In addition, Stan Winston Productions has secured the exclusive motion picture rights for the project. Rock Solid Studios announce the development of Tremors for PC, PS2, Xbox and GameCube. The game is published by Conspiracy Entertainment. Tremors is based on the successful Tremors movie franchise, created by Universal Pictures and Stampede Entertainment. The game is a third person action adventure set in the desert around the town of Gold Rock, where Graboids - gigantic landsharks threatens mankind. Players will experience an immersive storyline, filled with surprises and challenges in combination with high-octane action. The game is scheduled for release during the fall of 2003.
