Bionic Commando Rearmed is a makeover of the classic 8-bit game originally released 20 years ago, but with updated visuals, new weapons, online rankings, a reworked musical score and the addition of a 2-player co-op mode. Originally scheduled for release this month, Capcom's John Diamonon revealed it is being pushed until July.

Harmonix and MTV Games announced the latest slate of downloadable tracks available for Rock Band. Starting May 13 for the X360 (May 15th for PS3) players will be download a three-pack of rock radio hits from the late ‘70s: Blondie’s Hanging On The Telephone, The Clash’s Train in Vain and Sonic Youth’s Kool Thing from the early ‘90s.

Spacetime Studios announced that it has acquired the rights to the Blackstar IP from NCsoft, who had canceled it a few months ago. Blackstar Chronicles is a space fantasy combat game based on the single-player traditions of Wing Commander and the multiplayer feel of Descent.
