Just as in the "Magic" card game, in "Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds" players will choose a duelist and up to two of "Magic's" five colors -- red, green, white, blue, and black -- to attempt to reduce their opponent's life to zero. Of course, getting an opponent to zero will not be easy; players will have to utilize lightning reflexes, strategic brilliance and, on occasion, raw power to overcome an enemy. It has been a busy, busy month for the folks at Diversions Publishing, publisher of One Must Fall: Battlegrounds, the most revolutionary online, 3D, multiplayer fighting game for PC. The game is shipping out to retailers today! Diversions Publishing expects it to be available at EB Games and GameStop stores during the Christmas holidays. Ship dates for other countries will be announced. The OMF public demo is expected to be available around December 19, just in time for the Christmas holidays. More details to follow!

Under license from Hasbro Consumer Products, Atari has announced plans to take one of the most popular trading card games ever created to the Xbox videogame system from Microsoft with the release of "Magic: The Gathering - Battlegrounds."
