Last year, THQ snagged creative director Patrice Désilets, known for Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia titles, from Ubisoft. The french publisher/developer didn't quite like that and blocked Désilets from working on any titles for a year. That statute has now expired, and THQ's Montreal studio revealed it is working on a new project.
Ubisoft announced some of the titles that it has in development for Nintendo’s Wii U: Assassin’s Creed, Rabbids and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online, as well as two new brands including a revolutionary FPS for the hardcore audience being developed exclusively for Wii U and a multi-sports game for the whole family.
During Ubisoft's Pre-E3 2011 Media Briefing, it presented new coverage for Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Far Cry 3, Raving Rabbids: Alive & Kicking, Rayman: Origins, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Trackmania 2.

In 2004, EA shook up the industry by buying nearly 20% of Ubisoft shares, sparking speculation it was attempting a hostile takeover, but Ubisoft accelerated its expansion plans and claimed it had the means to remain independent. Now
