Contrary to what was said at the Microsoft E3 briefing, Rockstar Games just announced Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360, scheduled for release in North America on Oct 16, 2007 and in Europe on Oct 19, 2007. Microsoft's Peter Moore, however, did announce episodic content through Xbox Live.

Rockstar Games is pleased to announce that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the Xbox and for the PC is now available at retailers throughout North America. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the Xbox and PC will be in stores in Europe on June 10th, 2005.
