'Tales of Innocence' (NDS) - 16 New Screens & Trailer

While there has been no official announcement yet, at a recent press conference in Japan, Namco Bandai revealed it is working on no less than four titles in the Tales Of franchise, one of them on NDS. Offering a Tales of the Tempest like battle system, Tales of Innocence will be in 3D, and is currently scheduled for release in Japan on Dec. 6, 2007.

'BioShock' (X360/PC) Patches Coming Next Week

Both the BioShock PC Patch and the 360 Title Update will be available next week. In additon to these fixes, we will be releasing downloadable content free on both Xbox Live and for the PC, with the DLC bundled into the PC Patch. A full list of bug fixes and everything included in the DLC will be put up on the Cult of Rapture when the downloads become available.

'Blacksite: Area 51' (ALL) Creative Director Harvey Smith Leaves Midway

Earlier this week, the Internet was on fiyah when Midway Austin's creative director Harvey Smith, lead designer of Ion Storm's Deus Ex titles, publicly criticized Blacksite: Area 51, for which he was lead designer, as being "f***ed up." Smith made the controversial statement at a Montreal International Game Summit lecture, blaming poor handling and pressure to share tech to get the title out before it was ready. Studio head Denise Fulton confirmed that the dismissal was by mutual agreement.

'Fable 2' (X360) Coming Late 2008, New Lionhead Title in the Works

Set 500 years after the original game, Fable 2 will offer even more choices and features, while building on the core gameplay theme of Fable where every choice continually defines who you become, allowing you to truly live the life you choose. In a LiveText interview Lionhead's Peter Molyneux revealed Fable 2 is currently scheduled for late 2008, and that a Dimitri hybrid type title is in the works, a project he calls "absolutely great, revolutionary and ambitious!"
