Silicon Knights Confirms Layoffs

Canadian developer Silicon Knights, known for titles such as Too Human, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes and most recently X-Men Destiny, has confirmed earlier layoff rumors. However, CFO Mike Mays sets the record straight that not 75% of its workforce was handed a pink slip, but rather around 60%. The reason given for the dismissal was a previously green-lit title that was abruptly canceled, leaving the Ontario studio with too many employees.
