Karaoke fans in China are going through a rough patch, as the communist government has updated its blacklist with a slew of songs no longer permitted to be played. Starting mid-Sept., 100 unapproved or unregistered from local pop stars, as well as Western celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and a 12-year-old Backstreet Boys track are no longer allowed to be played.

On a different note, British sports bar Mad Dog in the Fog surprised its regulars with airing StarCraft II tournaments for 50+ geeks, which even spawned a new name: Barcraft.
