Valve announced that its digital delivery service Steam is getting a big upgrade in the near future. Currently it allows you to access your games from any computer but with Steam Cloud you will also be able to store & retrieve game data such as save games, keyboard configurations, game settings, and eventually even screens and movies, unlimited & free. Steam Cloud will first come to the Half-Life titles, CounterStrike, Team Fortress 2, as well as the upcoming Left 4 Dead, and eventually become part of Steamworks. Other features will be driver updates, calendar, system spec checker, events, localized pricing, etc..

In The Eye of Judgment collectible trading cards, embedded with a CyberCode, are placed in front of the PlayStation Eye for their respective creatures to come to life in 3D and battle on screen. With the recent launch of Biolith Rebellion 2, which adds 100 new cards, new creatures, and more, SCEA has issued a patch fixing card misprints and some gameplay imbalances.

Infogrames president Phil Harrison 
revealed that Alone in the Dark fans may expect a demo to appear on Xbox Live and PSN about a week before the game ships, which would mean somewhere around June 13, while 
LucasArts also confirmed a demo for its sci-fi shooter Fracture is planned, although there will be a longer wait as that one is expected to hit August/September.
