God of War II director Cory Barlog, who recently left SCEA, has teamed up with writer-director-producer George Miller to develop a game based on the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road movie. Sony has released a new v2.17 edition of its PS3 system software, but despite the recent hints at a possible in-game XMB/Home update this new version seems rather anemic as it only "improves the operating stability of some online PS3 titles."
