The Chronicles of Spellborn is an MMORPG set in the Enclave of the Five Sacrifices. Developed by Dutch studio Spellborn, previously known for Alpha Black Zero, it uses the Unreal 2.5 Engine. Sony is ending the year with a bang by rolling out a huge PlayStation Store update. Just like on XBL, EA has released new Rock Band tracks, a free We Three Kings Guitar Hero track, and PS3-exclusive content with Warhawk Omega Dawn Booster Pack ($7.99), Folklore Holiday Add-On (free), MotorStorm Holiday Skin (free) and 2 High Stakes: Poker Edition Add-Ons (free). On top of that, there are 4 new downloadable games: Toy Home ($9.99), Snakeball (free demo, $9.99 full game), Trials of Topoq ($4.99) and Mesmerize: Distort ($1.99). There is also a demo for Midway's Blacksite: Area 51 and the usual slew of game and movie trailers.

Devil May Cry 4 is the 4th installment in Capcom's series starring Dante, the gunslinging demon hunter, and introducing a new hero, Nero, who possesses a demonic arm that can pull in enemies or use them as projectiles. Sony revealed a DMC 4 special edition PS3 will be released in Japan, for US$422 (47,800yen), which includes the game and a ceramic white or clear black console.
