SEGA is developing the video game adaptation of the theatrical movie release, The Golden Compass, based on the first book in the award-winning His Dark Materials trilogy, by British author Philip Pullman.

The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu reveals that SEGA is working on a remake of the 1996 Sega Saturn title NiGHTS into Dreams, prequel to the upcoming Journey of Dreams for the Wii.
