Matrix Games is very proud to announce they have acquired the rights to two game series engines and will be developing the next games in the Combat Command and Horse and Musket series designed by Boku Strategy Games.

In keeping with Blizzard's aggressive stance against cheating in World of Warcraft, it banned over 76,000 accounts were closed and 11 million gold was removed from the game economies in Europe, Korea, and the US in the month of September. The banned accounts were taking part in activities that violate the game's Terms of Use, including using third-party programs to farm gold and items, which severely impacts the economy of a realm and the overall game enjoyment for all players.

Microsoft announced that both the Xbox Live service and Xbox.com will be offline and unavailable starting at midnight Pacific Time on Tuesday October 17, 2006. The downtime is needed to add new features and other cool stuff to the Xbox Live service. Neither service will be reachable for 24 hours, so if you get errror messages, it's not you nor your internet connection.
