Ensemble Studios' Dave Pottinger
confirmed that a demo for Age of Empires III is in the works, and speculations are that it will be released ahead of the game's official November release, somewhere in September. A few demo candiates have been submitted to Microsoft for approval meaning it is nearing completion. The demo will be quite big as Dave also said "I hope you have a fat Internet pipe." We will of course have it on our
fileserver network as soon as it becomes available.

his blog Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert revealed that he had a planned trip to France, in order to meet with a publisher in France. Unfortunately Ron got sick and had to cancel the trip, but the interesting part here is that this would mean he is working on a new game. Speculations that Paris means Ubisoft are a little bit premature since also Atari, Vivendi have offices there, or it could be just somebody who wants to have a romantic date under the Eifel tower.

Ubisoft today announced that new downloadable content is available on XBOX Live for owners of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. The Content Download for Splinter Cell Chaos Theory includes 2 new Coop missions that continue the Coop story and bring it to the end. The 2 missions are: Nuclear Plant, and UN Headquarters. Both new missions are playable in Split Screen, System Link and Xbox Live, both missions are playable only in Mission and Elite Mode.

While there is no official English press release yet, it has been revealed by Japanese magazine Famitsu as Biohazard Deadly Silence, and probably know over here as Resident Evil DS. While no specific release date was provided, a few details did trickle through. Resident Evil DS will be a remake of the first RE title, released in 1996, but unlike the original, the DS version will not use pre-rendered graphics, but be in full 3D. One of the features will require you to wipe the blood covered screen in order to proceed, and the dual screen will most likely be used for inventory and map.
