Eidos announces it has signed a development deal with Swedish based Avalanche Studios. Avalanche Studios specialises in the creation of innovative game concepts using its cutting edge proprietary technology. It is developing an action game entitled Just Cause for Eidos, which will be released in 2005 on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC.

Activision announced today that the company is developing a sequel based on the ever-popular Marvel franchise with Raven Software. The original game challenges players to master the attributes of their favorite X-Men by creating, customizing and controlling teams of four mutants as they embark on a quest to stop the extinction of mankind. The title is currently available worldwide for the PlayStation2, Xbox and GameCube.

Sony UK confirmed today that the European edition of its highly popular racing game 'Gran Turismo 4' has been pushed back from its original Dec. 2004 release date to Q1 2005. At the TGS earlier this year GT4 producer Kazunori Yamauchi had said that there would be a somewhat simultanious world wide release it seems Sony Europe needs more time to complete all the different localized versions (translations in 13 different languages).
