Today the official Breed site is updated with a bunch of new screens. Breed is an upcoming sci-fi first person shooter game... and judging from the screens they are quite impressive indeed. Check them out!

After razorwax released the screenshots featuring the Dwarf Character Model yesterday, they received lots of both praise, criticism and questions from the Darkfall community, on their boards, in emails and on IRC. UK Development Company, Vulcan Software, are proud to announce the release of Military World, the third installment of their simplistically complex puzzle game, Timekeepers, for the PC. Timekeepers is a conversion of the 1995 Amiga Classic with enhanced graphics, new sounds and music, and additional character animations. Compared to Lemmings in it's day, but instead of assigning commands to the characters, the command icons are pasted directly onto the level terrain. The Timekeepers obey the commands as they walk over them.

Activision released another batch of screenshots from the upcoming Soldier of Fortune 2 patch. The patch for Raven's First Person Shooter is to be expected somewhere mid next week. The screens show off some of the new maps that will be included. Njoy!

NVIDIA jumped the gun and is first to offer the Recon demo of America's Army: Operations, the free first-person shooter game that was developed by the U.S. Army using the Unreal engine. Valve and the Day of Defeat team today announced an official partnership for continued development of the World War II-based Half-Life MOD. In addition, Day of Defeat 3.0 is due to launch next week, and will mark the introduction of new missions and gameplay types, a new player class, and more. First shown at the Third Annual Half-Life MOD Expo in San Francisco late last year, Day of Defeat is a team-based action game based upon the great battles, equipment, and scenarios of WWII. Not that this came as a surprise but Blizzard just announced that Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is now available at retailers worldwide. With initial orders of over 4.5 million copies, the release of Warcraft III represents the biggest worldwide launch in PC-gaming history. "We're really excited that people are now able to pick up a copy of Warcraft III and start playing the complete game," stated Mike Morhaime, Blizzard Entertainment president and co-founder. "We hope players will enjoy what they see, and we look forward to hearing their thoughts about the game."

Strategy First just let us know that they have come up with a new patch for Patrician II. There are 2 seperate patches, one for the US/UK version (upgrading Patrician II to v1.1) and one for the Dutch version (updating Patrician II to v1.2). 3DGamers today tossed up the long-promised playable demo (65MB) of Imperium Galactica III: Genesis. This demo offering you to try out this space strategy game that is in the works at Philos Entertainment. The demo contains one mission from the full game and "was especially developed for use with the new Matrox Parphelia graphics card, but also runs on any other modern 3D graphics accelerator board."
