Iver, Tula and Groove are Hoobs who come from Hoobland, a sunny, colourful, bouncy world. They travel the universe in their Hoobmobile, a colourful imaginative bus that they live in as well as drive. Each day, they are charged with the task of finding out the answer to a question about the world they are visiting. They then report their findings to Hubba Hubba back home in Hoobland, who is compiling an enormous reference database called the Hoobopaedia. This information is then broadcast to Hoobs everywhere via the Hoobnet. Hey! Kids need games too you know!

Developed by Presto Studios Inc., "Whacked!" will feature fast and furious combat in which eight demented contestants are pitted against each other in the world's most irreverent and dangerous game show. When contestants take the stage, all hell breaks loose as free-for-all combat ensues. Contestants must use power-ups and zany weapons such as giant staplers and rubber ducky grenades to flatten their opponents and win a grand prize that's out of this world. Spider-man began casting its worldwide web this weekend as it annihilated all opening weekend records to take $114m in just three days in the US. The web-spinning hero crushed a long list of records in its historic debut, including Sony’s own pacesetter Men in Black and the current holder of the opening weekend record The Lost World. The five day $100m figure from both Star Wars Episode I and Harry Potter, became history as Spidey took over $100m in just three days.

There is a new movie of Age of Mythology available for download showing more from the 3D real-time strategy game in the works at Ensemble Studios (thanks blues). The 'Fileplanet' version is an amazing 44.5 MB download (65 mb unpacked) offers a mere minute of nice looking but fairly sedate gameplay footage in regular resolution AVI format. We could not stand this royal bloatedness so compressed it down for you people..
