THQ to distribute Koei titles

THQ International Ltd, a division of THQ Inc. today announced an exclusive distribution agreement granting THQ rights to distribute games originally published in Japan by Koei Co. Ltd. Under the terms of the agreement, THQ will perform the sales, marketing and distribution of four Koei titles in the UK, France, Germany, Australia, Spain, Italy and other PAL territories.

Circus Maximus: Chariot Wars XBox Golden

Encore today announced that the highly anticipated Circus Maximus: Chariot Wars for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft has gone gold. This combat-racing game - which captures the power and excitement of chariot racing during the glory days of ancient Rome - is expected to be on store shelves at leading videogame retailers nationwide by the end of February. The "Teen" rated game will retail for approximately $50.

Crave Entertainment today released details regarding its future generation title, "Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter." Mace Griffin, a former government ranger, seeks revenge on land and in space. Melding both the first person shooter genre and vehicular combat on land and space, the game reaches far beyond any game currently available. Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter is scheduled to ship fall 2002 on Xbox and PC.
