The long promised demo isn't available yet or should we say STILL not, but at least we can now drool over a 2min divx "New World Order movie" with some in-game footage. For the few people out there who have no idea what NWO is about, its a first person shooter developed by Termite Games/Project3. It is commonly said to be the only game being a TRUE Counter Strike killer (thanks blues).

Vivendi, Interscope Records and recording artist No Doubt announce today their collaboration on the upcoming release of Malice, a character-based, action-adventure game, developed by Argonaut and published by Sierra. This partnership will feature several of the band’s songs in the upcoming game, as well as introduce lead vocalist Gwen Stefani as the voice of unexpected, hammer-wielding heroine, Malice, and band members Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young as voices of her cronies within the game. Malice is due to release worldwide this fall on both the Xboxand the PS2 .

UbiSoft Announces 'IL-2 Sturmovik:The Forgotten Battles'

Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world's largest video game publishers, today announced that it has entered into a publishing agreement under which 1C: Maddox Games will develop new content for the multi-award winning WWII combat flight simulation title, IL-2 Sturmovik. IL2-Sturmovik: The Forgotten Battles will include two new maps for Finland and Hungary, expanding the battlefield for both single and multiplayer modes. It will also feature more than 20 new single player missions and ten cooperative multiplayer missions. IL2-Sturmovik: The Forgotten Battles is expected to ship to retail stores worldwide in Fall 2002.

Noticed on the German Ubi Soft site that the playable demo of Red Storm's imminent squad-based tactical shooter, "The Sum of All Fears" is now available for download. Eidos Interactive and Core Design announced today that Lara Croft, character of one of the $1 billion dollar game franchise, will mark her public debut at the upcoming E3 in Los Angeles on May 22. Croft, who has previously been portrayed by models Rhona Mitra, Nell McAndrew, Lara Weller, Lucy Clarkson, Jill de Jong and actress Angelina Jolie, will make several appearances on the expo floor answering questions from the audience and talking about her newest adventure "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness."

Eidos announces a new title for its ‘Fresh Games’ label, Legaia 2: Duel Saga on PS2. Legaia 2: Duel Saga is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Legend of Legaia, which was released on PlayStation in 1999. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan, the game will be released this Autumn in the U.S. and Europe. The game is a Japanese turn-based RPG that features real-time backgrounds and voice acting. Eidos will translate and localise the game for the Western market.
