THQ Inc. and SEGA Corporation today announced they will unveil three more titles in their exclusive, 16-title Game Boy Advance co-publishing agreement at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. ALTERED BEAST: GUARDIAN OF THE REALMS and THE REVENGE OF SHINOBI are scheduled for release in late 2002, while SPACE CHANNEL 5 is scheduled for an early 2003 release.

One ring to rule them all... EA announces that they will bring The Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers video games to the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system and the Nintendo Game Boy Advance.

Microsoft Game Studios today announced that it is in the final stages of an exclusive publishing deal with Sigil Games Online Inc. Sigil Games Online was formed by two of the game industry's most renowned designers, Brad McQuaid, co-creator of the revolutionary, massively multiplayer online role-playing game "EverQuest(," and Jeff Butler, former producer of the EverQuest Live and Expansion teams.

As a world premiere, during E3 2002 Ubi Soft Entertainment will be unveiling Project BG&E, the latest creation by Michel Ancel, creator of the critically acclaimed Rayman series. Project BG&E is scheduled to ship to retail shelves in the 1st Quarter of 2003 with availability on all next generation consoles and PC.

The latest instalment of Empire’s market leading cricket simulation International Cricket Captain 2002 is due for release this summer. Infogrames announced that it has entered into a licensing deal with Korea-based Phantagram Interactive Inc. involving Infogrames' Total Annihilation franchise. Under the terms of the deal, Infogrames has licensed to Phantagram the name, logo and code for the U.S. version of Total Annihilation for the purpose of developing a new Total Annihilation title for the PC.

Ubi Soft just let us know that the official site for The Sum Of All Fears (Red Storm's upcoming squad based tactical shooter) is online. The site has a lot of goodies such as : game information, weapons gallery, a few screenshots, a small FAQ, but most importantly a 6.4 MB Quicktime movie trailer (a little over two minutes with some in game footage). THQ Inc. and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. today announced WWE Crush Hour. The first ever car combat experience featuring World Wrestling Entertainment Superstars allows players to engage in battle across 12 intense levels littered with deadly traps and hazards. Developed by THQ subsidiary Pacific Coast Power & Light Co., WWE Crush Hour is the latest videogame based on the highly popular World Wrestling Entertainment (NYSE: WWF) license and will be available early 2003 for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, Xbox video game system from Microsoft and Nintendo GameCube.

CDV Software Entertainment AG, developer and publisher of computer games, is continuing its internationalization at high speed. Last year's surprisingly good sales figures are followed up by several licensing contracts with international distribution partners in the first quarter of 2002. Now CDV has increased the number of internationally published titles by concluding additional contracts.

Codemasters has won the exclusive console and PC game rights to the US-based Indy Racing League in a deal with Indianapolis Motor Speedway, LLC. The arrangement includes the rights to the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing", the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race, also known as the Indy 500.

JoWooD today announced the takeover in an asset deal of extensive Ravensburger Interactive Media activities. Ravensburger Interactive, whose primary activity is publishing computer games, is a subsidiary of the well-known German games manufacturer Ravensburger. With this agreement JoWooD continues to strengthen its market position and to establish itself as by far the largest German speaking publisher and developer of entertainment software.

SEGA of America, Inc. today announced that it will again raise the bar for the industry as the first and only company to bring online content to all new next-generation console platforms including Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation2 and the Xbox. Additionally, SEGA will deliver the first online game for Nintendo GameCube with "Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II" and the first online game for Xbox with "SEGA Sports NFL 2K3."
