Activison let us know that the upcoming PlayStation 2 title, Star Wars: Racer Revenge got a new release date. Racer Revenge will now be hitting retail on the 8th March 2002.

Cube-Europe reports that Take-Two Interactive announced the planning to release Serious Sam 2 and Smuggler's Run 2 on the GameCube. The games will be released somewhere mid 2002.

Activision, Inc. and Totally Games highly anticipated space combat sim, Star Trek: Bridge Commander, has gone gold and is on its way to manufacturing. The game puts the player in command of a Galaxy-class starship tasked with identifying the cause of a mysterious solar eruption that destroyed a Federation colony. During the journey, players battle the Romulans, align with the Klingons, investigate the treacherous Cardassians, and reveal a secret plot that threatens the balance of power in the Alpha Quadrant. Star Trek: Bridge Commander is rated “E” for everyone by the ESRB and carries a suggested retail price of $49.99.

GameActive Networks is happy to announce that versions of the localized adrenaline-pumping unrelenting action Solaris 104 have just hit Poland and Italy; in Poland the game is distributed by TopWare Poland, while in Italy it's being distributed by Microforum Italia. The English wide-European version will be hitting shelves in the UK, Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, Benelux and Switzerland in the end of February (distributed by Akaei PLC), while the North American version will be hitting stores in March. Nickelodeon today named THQ Inc. master interactive licensee for several of Nickelodeon leading properties. THQ now holds exclusive, worldwide interactive rights to publish games based on all existing and future individual Nickelodeon animated TV and movie properties targeting kids ages 6-11 on every game system through 2005. Entertainment today announced that its highly anticipated graphic adventure Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars for Game Boy Advance has gone gold, indicating the product has completed testing and is ready for manufacture. Developed by York-based studio, Revolution, the Broken Sword series is renowned for its excellence among adventure gaming fans. The Game Boy Advance version is set to ship to retailers in March.
