Bethesda announced today that actress Lynda Carter will lend her voice talents to the award-winning videogame, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Developed for both the Xbox 360 and PC platforms, Oblivion is one of the year's most highly-anticipated games and sequel to the best-selling role playing game of 2002, Morrowind.

Groove Games today announced its agreement with Universal Studios to publish a video game based on the recent horror film, George A. Romero's Land of the Dead. Developed by Brainbox Games and using the Unreal Engine, the FPS title will feature zombies, frightening effects, and key environments seen in the film. The game is slated for an October 2005 release.

Atari today announced financial results for Q1 2006, ended June 30, 2005. Net revenue was $24.2M, down from $108.1M from Q1 2005, and net loss for the quarter was $32.8M, compared to net income of $12.1M at this time last year. The revenue drop is primarily due to the success of last year's DRIV3R (PS2/Xbox) and Atari's decision to release fewer products in order to focus on producing higher quality titles.
