Ubisoft revealed that it will release a multiplayer demo for Faces of War, allowing you to choose from one of three sides: Ally, Soviet or German and guide your troops to the victory. The mp demo will include 2 game modes: the "Combat" and the "Frontline". The "Combat" can be played both in Team mode and Free For All (FFA). The demo game modes are capped to 4 players max, but the final game has no such restriction.

Atari Europe and CD Projekt today announced that the companies have entered into a publishing agreement for The Witcher, whereby Atari will market and distribute CD Projekt’s upcoming fantasy role-playing game throughout Europe and Asia in Spring 2007.

Better late than never, Ubisoft has released a singleplayer demo for last year's Far Cry Instincts Predator on Xbox Live Marketplace (not available in Asia). Far Cry Instincts Predator includes two games in one – all new Far Cry Instincts Predator content, as well as the original Far Cry Instincts.

While the rest of the world is still awaiting release of the original Yakuza, SEGA is already working on the sequel. Set one year after the events of its predecessor, in Yakuza 2 you will face the Osaka underworld and the terrible Dragon of the West, Ryûji Kôda. Toshihiro Nagoshi and his team will greatly improve the combat system, adding more finishing and combo moves, as well as over 100 subquests and activities allowing our hero Kazuma Kiryû to play a gigolo, a club host, or spend his time playing golf and bowling. Yakuza 2 is currently scheduled for release in Japan on December 7th, 2006.

Since its multiple-platform unveiling at E3, which was then reversed by a PS3-only announcement, rumors have been rampant about which platforms Assassin's Creed will actually appear on. A four-page article in PC Gamer UK is the first proof that Ubisoft is not only working on Assassin's Creed for PS3, but also for PC. While an official announcement has not been made, Ubisoft officials did confirm that a PC version is indeed in the works and is tentatively scheduled for 2007. Now that the PC edition has been disclosed, an Xbox 360 port is still possible, considering the similarities between the two platforms.
