Viva Media and 10Tacle Studios announce an official publishing partnership for GTR 2 in the North America. GTR 2, the official simulation of the FIA GT championship, features more than 140 high detailed cars and 34 different track-layouts in a hyper realistic racing world with breathtaking real-world-like effects.

Atari continues to explore new worlds with the upcoming action-adventure game Arthur and the Minimoys. Directly inspired by world famous film director and writer Luc Besson's upcoming animated film of the same name, the Arthur and the Minimoys game will follow the film's storyline and feature eye-popping graphics and technical innovations.

Microsoft announced a new cross-platform gaming service that integrates games played on cell phones, Xbox 360 consoles and the upcoming Windows Vista operating system.

Contrary to what was said at the Microsoft E3 briefing, Rockstar Games just announced Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360, scheduled for release in North America on Oct 16, 2007 and in Europe on Oct 19, 2007. Microsoft's Peter Moore, however, did announce episodic content through Xbox Live.

An impressive Gears of War demonstration kicked off the Microsoft E3 briefing, which was followed by Peer Moore formally announcing Fable 2, Forza 2, as well as Tecmo's Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. Alan Wake is now being published by Microsoft and will be PC/X360 exclusive. Crysis is not Vista exclusive but will also work on XP. Live Anywhere is an Xbox Live Marketplace clone for PC, including GamerTag features. ShadowRun is unveiled, as well as Halo 3 trailer, both scheduled for 2007.
