In each mission of Faces of War, players will be leading a squad of 6 soldiers in a full 3D environment. Through the decisive European battles of World War II, they will be in command of Allied, Soviet and German troops. In an interview with Ain't It Cool News, Ritual's VP of development Tom Mustaine revealed that they are looking into bringing its episodic game to next-gen consoles. "We’re gunna do a 360 version at some point in the future. We haven’t finalized those plans yet so I haven’t really announced it yet. But we will be doing it. We also are hoping to be doing a PS 3 version as well. We were looking at Marketplace for the 360 because episodic on Marketplace would make a lot of sense."

Matrix Games released a new patch for its tactical war game, Flashpoint Germany. This update brings your retail game to v1.11 and fixes a Nuclear Option recursion issue and adjusts the Warsaw Pact T-72 tank based on testing.

GRIN revealed today that the first patch for the PC edition of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is in the final testing phase, and is scheduled for release this week. GRIN stresses that this v1.10 is a stability patch addressing various issues reported by the community, and otherwise, not to be confused with the scheduled "June" patch which will add new content and additional multiplayer functionality.
