Digital Illusions announced today that it has signed a new contract with EA for the development of a PC game within the shooter genre. The game is based on Digital Illusions’ brand, will be developed by DICE Stockholm and is planned for a fall 2006 debut. A specific title is not yet revealed, and will be disclosed at a later date. Various outlets and blogs have posted word that Wal-Marts all over the country have started putting up their demo kiosk and have Microsoft next-gen console up and running for customer to play. While we tried to call our local Wal-Mart, they could not confirm it was in store already, but apparently the kiosks have playable demos included for King Kong, Call of Duty 2 and Kameo. Gaming blog Joystiq.com has a list of over 50 confirmed Wal-Mart stores that have the X360 kiosk up & running.
