Mythic Bans 'Dark Age of Camelot' Cheaters

One of Dark Age of Camelot's biggest complaints was the widely known radar cheat, and it seems Mythic has finally found a solution and bann0red the h4xx0rz. "For the last few months, we've been test driving our program's latest refinements. We didn't want to deliver bannings until we were absolutely sure we had no false positives. Well, we're sure now. So, to about four hundred and fifty people with nothing better to do but cheat at video games: Time for a new game, because you are now banned."

Atari Statement Regarding 'TimeShift' PC Demo Concerns

We are committed to delivering a top-quality product and can confirm that the issues found in the demo will not be present in the final product. Further, the team is working diligently to remedy the community's concerns. We will provide more information to the community regarding the demo soon." Producer Kyle Peschel has posted several interim fixes on the Atari forums.

'Battlefield 2' - v1.2 Patch and Euro Booster Pack Delayed

EA today revealed that we will have to wait a week or 2-3 longer for the BF2 v1.2 patch, caused by some community concerns which had to be addressed first. The delay unfortunately also results in the Euro Force booster pack being pushed back to mid/end February. Good news is that the the Red/Blue nametag bug has been addressed, as well as increased distance for hand grenades, ammo packs, and health packs, turrets will no longer pass through walls, and and last but not least tank/grenade launcher projectiles will less frequently vanish during online play.
