At the Tokyo Game Show 2005, Gravity announced it is working on Ragnarok Online 2, but promises to take its popular online RPG in a somewhat new direction. Unlike its predecessor, Ragnarok 2 will be in full 3D, but will also do away with the fixed classes, allowing each player to develop his own character and skills. Carried over from the first title are several predetermined choices such as swordman, novice or thief, but also new additions like recruit, magician and even a clown.

Today Ubisoft announced that the Heroes of the Pacific video game for the PS2 and Xbox has achieved gold status and will ship for retail later this month.
