'Battlefield 2: Deluxe Edition' Revealed

Both EBGames and GameStop today adding product listings for a yet unannounced Battlefield 2: Deluxe Edition product. No details are provided but the Battlefield franchise is not unfamiliar with bundles as has been proven in the past. BF2 Deluxe Edition most likely combines the original Battlefield 2 and its recently released Special Forces expansion pack, all patched up to the latest version (maybe even the new v1.3). Both online retailers seem to differ regarding release date as EBGames has it pegged down for end of March, while GameSpot lists May.

Vivendi Universal Games is pleased to announce that SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate, the expansion pack to SWAT 4 -- one of the highest-rated PC shooters of 2005 -- has gone gold and will ship to retail outlets in North America on February 28.

'TimeShift' (Xbox/X360/PC) Demo Coming Monday

Atari will release a one level singleplayer demo for its time-controlling FPS on Monday January 30. In the Timeshift demo you need to infiltrate a heavily guarded building in order to make contact with a rebel on the top floor. We will of course have it on our fileserver network as soon as it's released.

Based on the blockbuster apocalyptic series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, Left Behind: Eternal Forces is an RTS game allowing you to join the Tribulation Forces and participate actively in the battle of good versus evil. In order to release a first-rate game that will compete at the highest level with other mainstream RTS titles on the market the title will now launch the second half of 2006.
