GMX Media are today announcing a new title for the European release of the previously titled MMO action game, Beyond Blitzkrieg., the game will now be released as Battleground Europe.

Midway Games announced today that AREA 51 the story-driven, first-person action thriller has shipped to retail outlets nationwide for PC. AREA 51 delivers a powerful multiplayer experience that allows up to 16 gamers to battle it out online via Capture the Flag, Infection and various other multiplayer modes.

Dutch publishers Xing Interactive have announced the August 1st release date of a horizontal-scrolling space shoot 'em up, DoveZ: The Second Wave, which has been available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Singapore since the start of 2005. The suggested retail price is 9.99 GBP/14.99 Euro/US$19.99. DoveZ: The Second Wave is in the style of R-type and Raptor. Of course this game boasts many additional features to the standard repertoire of shoot 'em ups.

Hegemony: Philip of Macedon is a new Real Time Strategy game, under development at Longbow Digital Arts, based on the rise to power of Philip of Macedon, father of Alexander The Great. Composer Garry Schyman, whose experience outside of videogames includes feature films, television movies, and series television, has created the original orchestral score for Pandemic Studios/THQ's upcoming Destroy All Humans!. The musical score is written in the style of 1950's sci-fi movies such as the classic The Day The Earth Stood Still, using a Theremin as the lead instrument.

Dynasty Warriors 4 introduces a new stage and strategy system to the series' frenetic battlefield action. In the new system, the game opens with a map of Ancient China, fractured into 24 different regions. Players start with one region, and then choose another region to invade or defend. Officers will recommend a strategy or policy, and then combat begins. Victory goes to the first warrior who unifies all 24 regions under a single kingdom.

Fallen Lords: Condemnation is a spectacular 3D fighting adventure set in the Afterworld, a kingdom of endless war as the Forces of Light, the Forces of Darkness and the Souls of the Purgatory battle for the precarious balance of the world.
