Composer James Michael Dooley provides the score to Sony's PS2 exclusive Socom 3: US Navy SEALs. Konami today announced it has shipped S.L.A.I. (Steel Lancer Arena International),the first online mech combat game for the PS2, to retail stores nationwide. Providing a fast-paced, arcade style experience, S.L.A.I. allows players to quickly master the basics of mech fighting while also offering in-depth strategy for more advanced gamers.

More than two thirds of all video gamers feel that video games already surpass, or will soon at least equal movies, music and books in delivering an emotional impact, according to a study released today by Bowen Research, a firm that studies consumer attitudes and behavior regarding high tech products, consumer electronics, software and web sites.
