Valve's SteamPowered website has been updated with details regarding yet another update for its Counterstrike Source, enabling support for SourceTV, bug gixes, bot adjustments, and the Source Engine gets a few fixes and tweaks as well. Just restart steam for the effects to take place.

Star Wars: Republic Commando is a squad-based FPS that lets you explore the elite world of the Star Wars military while leading a 3-man squad of Republic Commandos. This v1.0 patch adds a new multiplayer map, Hangar, suitable for up to 16 players and can be played in all supported multiplayer modes (Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Assault).

S2 will significantly improve the game - important features have been added, dynamic camber (improved simulation of suspension and different suspension types), highly detailed tyre physics and a damage model have been introduced. Where S1 mostly contains the 'medium' fast cars and tracks, S2 introduces several 'fast' classes (and 'slow'). the LFS team has released a small alpha demo for Live for Speed S2 offering you a training area, and the Blackwood track, driveable in 3 cars. CNN's Game Over column brings us quite a surprise in its forward look at E3 titles, as they have received information about a possibility of 3D Realms' long-cancelled Prey getting re-announced at the world's biggest gaming event in LA. "The show's biggest surprise, though, will likely be the revelation of Prey. The game, originally about a Native American who fights several nefarious alien races, was thought to be cancelled, but quietly restarted a few years ago. The new version will use the Doom 3 graphics engine and is said to be a visually striking title. There's no word on whether the story has changed. 3D Realms originally worked on Prey, but word is they have handed development to a third party and are overseeing work on the game."
