Encore today announced that it has begun shipping Redline: Xtreme Air Racing 2, an ultra-realistic flight simulation racing game. Retailing for approximately $30, the PC game will be on store shelves this week.

Atari and Epic Games announced today that the release date for Unreal Tournament 2004, the highly anticipated follow-up to last year's smash Unreal Tournament 2003, has been moved to February 2004. The game was previously slated for release during the 2003 Holiday season.

Ubisoft announced that it is has signed an exclusive agreement with Sony Online Entertainment to publish PlanetSide: Core Combat, the first expansion for the popular massively multiplayer online first-person action game, PlanetSide. PlanetSide has already attracted more than 60,000 subscribers worldwide. The expansion will focus on alien technology discovered deep in underground caverns, adding more vehicles, weapons and battlegrounds under the planet Auraxis. MTX Mototrax, which will be available in Spring 2004, delivers the fastest, most complete racing game ever by offering a non-linear career mode that challenges players to master motocross, supercross and freestyle using authentic equipment and deep customization options that allow players to create their ultimate MX experience. Activision, Inc. announced today that Snoop Dogg, the "Dogg Father" of hip-hop, is an unlockable, playable character in the company's upcoming True Crime: Streets of L.A. videogame. When players unlock his character in "Dogg Patrol" mode they can play as Snoop and roll through the streets in a custom convertible, complete with hydraulics, while looking for random crimes to solve and criminals to take down.
