The world's largest traveling video game festival and competition will hit eight cities in March, April and May to offer gamers the chance to play the hottest new and unreleased console and PC video game titles. Throughout 2005, GameRiot will host a total of 85 events in 30 markets, with an expected attendance of 300,000 casual and hardcore gamers. The spring schedule includes stops at two popular music festivals and six trips to the wildly popular touring event Hot Import Nights.

Black Bean announced today it has signed a publishing deal with Haemimont Games for the incoming Rising Kingdoms for PC. Rising Kingdoms is a Real-Time Strategy set in a fantasy world, which focuses on empire development and dynamic tactical battles. This impressive title stays true to Haemimont's long tradition of RTS and RPG type games that started with Tzar: the Burden of the Crown and Celtic Kings series – Celtic Kings: Rage of War and Nemesis of the Roman Empire a.k.a.Imperivm II.

When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are systematically eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. For Agent 47 it's business as usual, until suddenly he loses contact with The ICA. Sensing that he may be the next target, he travels to America, where he prepares to make a killing.

Created by Texas-based Gearbox Software, Brothers in Arms is the most realistic and authentic WWII shooter ever. While other WWII games have sugarcoated the war experience, Brothers in Arms is based on a true story and will immerse gamers into the gritty, uncensored and emotionally-charged side of war. According to Dutch website gamer.nl Gearbox is currently working on a demo, to be released in the next 2-3 weeks. No info on the contents of the demo are available at this point, but we will of course have it available on our files network as soon as it pops up.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory will offer a high adrenaline experience thanks to never seen before close range attacks, a totally open level design, a completely immersive and interactive environment, and challenging advanced AI.

While there has not yet been any official announcement, it has been revealed through various magazine previews that Activision and Infinity Ward are working on Call of Duty 2. Using an all new engine, CoD 2 will be even more realistic and compelling than its predecessor, and is expected at the end of 2005.
